We design, build and service heat and cold rooms across Rwanda — from a two-person cabin on a Kimihurura balcony to a full thermal suite on the shore of Lake Kivu. Every cabin is drawn to your plot, because no two terraces in Kigali are the same slope.
A chiller fights the gap between target temperature and ambient. Kigali runs 26–28 °C by day and 16–17 °C at night, averaging 20.7 °C (Climates to Travel) — so the compressor cycles less than the same unit would at the coast, the bill is lower and the unit lasts longer.
At 1,450 m the evening drops far enough that a hot room is a pleasure rather than an endurance test, and it stays that way all year. Up at Kinigi, at 1,850–2,500 m, guests come off the volcanoes actively cold.
Rwanda's tourism revenue hit USD 685 million in 2025 from 1.49 million visits, with MICE alone at USD 94.7 million across 165 events (Rwanda Development Board). Hotels and lodges are competing on amenity, and wet areas show up in reviews out of all proportion to their floor area.

Only the hot-room timber and the equipment are imported. Basalt, brick, steel, glass and ironmongery are Rwandan — which shortens the lead time and takes the finished-goods duty band out of the price.
Every quote shows the heater calculation, the access plan and the service run as separate lines. If the slope or the cable is what makes your project expensive, you will see it.

Six to ten weeks for a standard cabin once the drawing is signed, and three to four if we already have the section in stock. The long pole is imported timber: 35–42 days at sea plus 5–10 days overland from Mombasa or Dar es Salaam (Sino Shipping).
Gladly, and the earlier the better. The three things we need in the build drawing are a drain with a fall, a mechanical extract route and a cable run to the board. Everything after that is finishes.
Yes, if parts are obtainable. Roughly half our service calls are for somebody else's installation.
A 9 kW heater pulls full load for the twenty to forty minute heat-up, then cycles at a third to a half of nameplate — an evening is closer to 4–6 kWh than to 9. A chiller in Kigali runs less than the same unit would at the coast because the nights are cool.
Two years on our build and workmanship, and the manufacturer's terms on heaters, generators and chillers, which we register for you. Service visits keep both valid.
Yes — we build a demountable specification with a bolted frame and a single service connection point. It is the standard in Kacyiru, where most housing is on corporate leases.
