We design, build and service heat and cold rooms for Rwanda — from a two-person cabin on a Kimihurura balcony to a full thermal suite on the shore of Lake Kivu. Every cabin is drawn to your plot, made and dry-assembled in our own factory, and installed by our own crew, because no two terraces in Kigali share the same slope. The short rains run from about October, so we schedule outdoor footings and sub-frames around the wet weeks.
A chiller fights the gap between target temperature and ambient. Kigali runs 26–28 °C by day and 16–17 °C at night, averaging 20.7 °C (Climates to Travel) — so the compressor cycles less than the same unit would in a hot lowland city, the bill is lower and the unit lasts longer.
At 1,450 m the evening drops far enough that a hot room is a pleasure rather than an endurance test, and it stays that way all year. Up at Kinigi, at 1,850–2,500 m, guests come off the volcanoes actively cold.
Rwanda's tourism revenue hit USD 685 million in 2025 from 1.49 million visits, with MICE alone at USD 94.7 million across 165 events (Rwanda Development Board). Hotels and lodges are competing on amenity, and wet areas show up in reviews out of all proportion to their floor area.

Read more →Every cabin, bench and piece of marble or mosaic is made in our own factory in Istanbul, where we have been building since 1987. Each cabin is dry-assembled and checked there, then numbered and crated with its fixings, seals and a spares allowance, and shipped through Mombasa on the Northern Corridor or Dar es Salaam on the Central Corridor. Customs is handled and the Incoterms are stated in the contract.
In Rwanda our own installation crew assembles, tests and commissions the room and trains whoever will run it. That is how we delivered three villa spas for a residential resort in Kigali — each with a panoramic-glass sauna and a membrane-lined steam room glazed to full height.
Our quality system is certified to ISO 9001:2015; heaters and generators carry CE marking to EN 60335, and we have been an official seller of EOS, Sentiotec, Wellis and wedi since 2015. Six to ten weeks from approved drawing to commissioning for a single room, and 12–16 weeks for a complete villa spa, plus the sea and road leg to Kigali — the overland stretch from Mombasa or Dar es Salaam alone is 5–10 days (Sino Shipping). Your quote names the corridor and the programme.
Gladly, and the earlier the better. The three things we need in the build drawing are a drain with a fall, a mechanical extract route and a cable run to the board. Everything after that is finishes.
Yes, if parts can be obtained. For EOS and Sentiotec equipment we source parts directly as official sellers; for other makes, send a photograph of the model plate before we book the visit.
A heater draws full power only during the twenty-to-forty-minute heat-up, then cycles. A four-person cabin with a 12 kW heater uses around 12 kWh an evening — about RWF 4,350 at REG's top household rate of RWF 369 per kWh (tariff from 1 October 2025, before VAT). A chiller in Kigali runs less than it would in a hot lowland city because the nights are cool.
24 months on every room we build and install, plus the manufacturers' terms on heaters, generators and chillers, which we register for you. A maintenance contract keeps both valid.
Yes — we build a demountable specification with a bolted frame and a single service connection point. It is the usual choice in Kacyiru and Nyarutarama, where much of the housing is let on corporate leases.
