What we take on for a Rwandan project

We design and build Finnish saunas, infrared cabins, steam rooms, hammams, cold plunge tubs and pools, and the plant that runs them: the drawing, the manufacture, the shipping, the installation and the service. We do not hand the parts that decide whether a room lasts to whoever is cheapest.

About 1,450 projects in more than 35 countries have come out of the same factory — 220 of them hotel spas and 680 private residences — and 78% of our clients come back for another project. Spa floors for Hilton, Hyatt, Kempinski and Rixos properties are among them.

Why a factory, not a building-site carpenter

A sauna's hot room depends on details that are hard to reproduce on a building site: thermo-treated timber sealed at every cut end, benches fixed from below, a vapour barrier with every joint taped, a heater matched to the volume. In our factory every cabin is dry-assembled and checked in full before it ships, then numbered and crated with its fixings, seals and a spares allowance.

What arrives in Rwanda is a room that has already been put together once. Our crew's time on site goes into assembly, connection, testing and training rather than cutting and guessing.

How projects reach Rwanda

Crates travel door to door — customs handled, Incoterms stated upfront — through Mombasa on the Northern Corridor or Dar es Salaam on the Central Corridor, then by road to Kigali. Site surveys happen in person in Kigali or by video. Typical lead times are 6–10 weeks per room and 12–16 weeks for a complete villa spa, plus the sea and road leg.

In Kigali, our crew built three villa spas for a residential resort, each with a panoramic-glass sauna and a steam room lined with a waterproof membrane behind full-height glass. Ask us for photographs.

Standards and paperwork

Our quality system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for manufacturing and after-sales service. Heaters and generators carry CE marking to EN 60335, with TÜV and GS approvals, and we have been an official seller of EOS, Sentiotec, Wellis and wedi since 2015. Contracts and invoices are in USD or EUR, quotes are itemised position by position, every room carries a 24-month warranty, and maintenance contracts are available.

What we will talk you out of in Kigali

A cabin cut down on site to fit a terrace. A chiller two sizes too small because the listing was cheap. A steam room tiled over an existing floor with no fall. A 9 kW heater on a socket circuit. Each costs more to put right than it would have cost to do properly the first time.
