A guest with forty minutes cannot wait fifty for a cabin to reach temperature. We specify smaller, well-insulated rooms with generous heater capacity for the volume, so the cabin is usable in twenty minutes, and we add a scheduler so it is warm before the evening arrivals land.

That is the opposite of a lodge, where the cabin can idle warm all afternoon. Here the control strategy is the product.

Airport-side hotels

Rooms are smaller and the plant space is tighter. A compact sauna plus a cold shower delivers most of the benefit in a quarter of the footprint of a full suite, and it is what we recommend to properties that want the amenity listed without losing four rooms of floor area.

The residential side of Kanombe has a lot of medical and military households working shift patterns. The brief we hear most is a two-person cabin that heats fast and runs at odd hours — which is a control question again, not a timber one.
