How a sauna or cold plunge project runs in Rwanda
Four stages, one payment schedule, and no surprises in the middle. Here is what each stage actually involves.
Site survey
In person in Kigali or by video call: the slope, the access route, the distance to the board, where the plant can live and whether the neighbours will hear it.
Drawings, then a line-by-line RWF quote
A dimensioned drawing, the heater calculation for 1,450 m, the materials, and a position-by-position price with access, services and shipping split out. Fixed once the drawing is signed.
Built in the factory, shipped to Kigali
Your cabin is built and dry-assembled in our factory while the plinth, drain and cable are prepared on site, then crated and shipped via Mombasa or Dar es Salaam to Kigali.
Installation and handover
Our own crew installs, tests and commissions the room, trains the people who will use it and books the first service — six months for commercial rooms, twelve for homes.
Payment: 40% on the signed drawing, 40% before shipping, 20% on commissioning. Contracts in USD or EUR; 24-month warranty on every room.
Three things, early
- A drain with a fall anywhere water will land — retrofitting one into a finished slab means breaking it.
- A mechanical extract route for wet rooms, ducted out. A window is not ventilation.
- A cable run to the board, ideally in an open trench. This is the cheapest decision in the whole project.
Give us those in the build drawing and everything after is finishes. Miss them and the project becomes demolition.
